We had just a night in our Stockholm stopover so took the high speed train into town and walked and dined in the old city area.

Nollais Shona Duit

Back in Dublin and back to Esther and Jarlath...
At the Brass Monkey

And yummy Irish food
And beaches
And a trip to one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe - scene of many of the key events in Irish history.
And home of the ghost of Kilmainham Goal - see him?
Then it was time to hit the streets of Christmas in Dublin - magic!

We'll be back!

We left Northern Ireland today. Barry's Dad and Aunty were very upset at saying goodbye to their long lost son/nephew! We might have to go back before we head off home! So sad to see :-(
Goodbye also to our cute wee cottage at An Creagan. It was so warm and cosy inside! And the car we hired - a Hyundai ix20.
Barry and his Aunty Sheila.
And cousins Elizabeth and Brendan
And next generation (1st cousin once removed?) Rebecca.
A typical Northern Ireland village we passed on our way back to Dublin.
Stunning 'emerald' green Irish landscape. Beautiful!

Oliver Wilkinson and son

We finally got to Cookstown today and met up with Barry's Dad, Oliver and his wife Theresa, and their little dog, Cindy.

On the way we stopped at Dungannon

And then we checked into 'An Creagan' where it was 'Christmas Party' night.

And whilst the coffee leaves a LOT to be desired, the Irish know how to do a decent cup of tea!

Esther and Jarlath!!!

Last night we finally caught up with Esther and Jarlath. Man it was SOOOO good to see them!!!
J&E on the ha'penny bridge. Trivia: It used to cost that much to cross and it was built by the same people who built the Titanic!
The good old Cunning Stunts from Wild Wellington Relay days. Check out Jarly's video from the following year:
