Last days in London

We spent the last days in London visiting the Warner Bro's Studio for the Harry Potter tour, as well as the 'Behind the magic' exhibition at the British library (no photos allowed). We visited Oxford and Regent Street at night and Carnaby Street today as well as Paddington Station (Bernie and Toni) while Barry took Kelly to the London Eye.
We also saw a couple of familiar faces - bumping into Alison's hubby Adrian at Vauxhall Station yesterday, then a fly by visit in Peckham by Guy this morning.
This afternoon we took the Eurostar to Paris and got to our accommodation in Montmartre by evening. So tonight we have been planning the next four days most likely starting with the Eiffel Tower tomorrow!
We stayed in Peckham where 'Only Fools and Horses' was set.

Breakfast in the sky, a day in the sun, and an evening with family

Today we had breakfast in the sky garden, 36 floors above Fenchurch Street in a building generally known as 'the walkie talkie'. Spectacular views, very yummy food, and a lovely sunny day to boot.
After this, we headed to Hyde Park and strolled all the way through to Kensington Palace, stopping to visit the Diana memorial and the Italian Gardens, and the Statue of Peter Pan along the way.
After this, Bernie, Kelly, and I went to see the dresses of Diana in the Palace along with the stately rooms of past kings and queens (Barry disappeared and met up with us later).
Uncle Pat, Aunty Doreen, Karen, Greg, Guy, Gail, Brett, Ricky, and Alison all came into town and met us for dinner at a restaurant (Strada) that had a stunning view of the Tower Bridge all lit up on the river Thames. It was a fabulous night with our lovely English family, and a lovely night weather wise too. We strolled along the embankment, and crossed the bridge before finally making our way back to Peckham where we are staying.
